BALLINGDON ROAD

This wonderful family had a very specific brief: they needed a large bike shed to house 4 large bikes, but also a generous social seating area, an outdoor BBQ area (to feed many hungry boys), an air conditioning unit to hide and a majestic mature ceanothus tree to build it all around. We do love a challenge! With some clever material choices, and lots of sensitive tonal colours this jewel of a garden feels welcoming and yet practical. The garden now gets as much use from the family dealing with bikes as it does hosting many parties or simply enjoying a quiet morning coffee.
